Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Jack B — 08 May 2012
Sharp, satirical and as relevant as ever, this poking of Cold War paranoia and shambolic higher powers is hilarious and meaningful. From the romanticizing of war to the beautifully acted characters- the star turn (or turns) of course being Sellers.
This is a quotable masterpiece and (dare I say) Kubrick's best film.
