Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Shane M — 11 Aug 2012
For some reason, I expected this to be really funny. What I saw instead was a bitterly humorous satire that, although never managed to evoke laughter, had a lot of pretty memorable scenes, dialogues and characters (mostly those of the majestic Peter Sellers).
Not the masterpiece everyone dubs it but still a worthwile film.
