Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Marco P — 21 Jan 2013
Even in the throes of nuclear annihilation, Kubrick-- Stanley Kubrick, the brooding mind-bending madman-- managed to create what may be the funniest movie ever made. Thanks to his trademark perfectionist attitude, he was able to capture every shot perfectly in black and white, utilized cut scenes of actors giving over-the-top performances (a hilarious George C.
Scott), and got the best performance ever out of the genius Peter Sellers. One of my favorite movies of all time, and Kubrick's greatest film in my opinion.
