Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Lester F — 04 Feb 2013
"Mein Fuhrer, I can walk.".
This movie is pretty funny (not in a laugh out loud way) and extremely well written. The acting was also nice. The problem I have with this movie is that, like most dark comedies, it got a little boring. I don't mean some with the script, I mean with the direction. Extended shots with nothing but the dialogue to try to keep my attention, come on get creative with the cinematography. Some parts had me loose attention honestly. I guess I would have enjoyed this movie a lot more if I loved dark comedies.
