Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Marc R — 18 Mar 2013
Stanley Kubrick directs his actors, most notably Petter Sellers and George C. Scott, to comedic perfection in the key cinematic political satire of our time. Few films (maybe none) have so effortlessly fused a masterful command of the medium with such scathing wit and glorious comedy.
The script, by Kubrick, Peter George, and Terry Southern, is clearly one of the cinema's treasures.
