Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Robert D — 13 Apr 2013
Bold and cynical, Dr. Strangelove is a comedic take on the Cold War that still holds its humor decades later. I'll confess that satire is not my preferred genre, but Kubrick does a great job bringing to life the stories of three groups of people at different ends of the American military machine.
It's a little too much for my tastes, but it's still easy to see why its stood the test of time as a classic of cinema.
