Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Andrew S — 03 Jul 2013
A pitch black comedy/suspense film about the madness of cold war politics, the encroachment of military conservatives on technology and politics, and sheer stupidity of humans. Kubrick's best film of the ones I have seen (the shining, a clockwork orange, 2001: a space odyssey being the others).
Sellers' clever humour and ability is demonstrated by covering 3 major roles one of which holds the title of the film despitet having the least screen time. First time rating: 9.5/10.
