Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Kyle S — 05 Dec 2013
Satire at its very best and often so shockingly suggestive to what a single psychopath holding power can do. Gen. Ripper's remarks after he gave the go codes and that he could defend his choices in afterlife are so suggestive of using religion as an excuse for war.
His proclamation that god was on his side is so reminiscent of modern jihadi movements that reminds us that the poison is not limited to a particular religion. A must watch for all the cine-lovers.
