Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Sean D — 17 Oct 2014
Masterpiece defined, this is perhaps the best comedy (without question the best dark-comedy) movie ever made. The just-enough-over-the-top-acting by everyone is great, but Sellers owns this film. Definitely in my top 5 of all-time.
In fact Godfather is the only movie I can think of that is better. This is one of those films that define you as a film-lover. If you haven't seen this film, you can't love movies. Everyone should see this.
I can not speak higher of this film, words just don't do it justice. If any movie deserves a 10/10, it would be this one.
