Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Michael D — 24 Oct 2014
This film is the one that every man who likes black sense of humour obviously has to watch. From the first seconds of this movie you could feel sharp absurd which cuts air with every single dialog or action.
Beyond incredible funny scenes I find a lot of bitter irony about cold war and people whose decisions could change whole world. It is of course grotesque but if you think a little about our goverments and some situations which are recurring from time to time, this film says once upon a time all of us could be surprised.
I certainly recommend this piece of art.
