Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Jerome K — 21 Feb 2016
I can only imagine how strange people must have thought this movie was back in 1964. It examines how dangerously close the world was Armageddon during the Cold War with a little bit of humor. The production value may not hold up as well, as you can tell the shots of the plane were just a model in front of a screen, but I think the story still has merit today.
The threat of war always seems to be looming. I was also impressed with how Peter Sellers played multiple characters, as it took me awhile to realize that fact.
