Though short on the bells and whistles that later became trademarks of the franchise, "Dr. No" certainly overcomes any perceived lack of content with pure style and energy. The first installment of the James Bond series has Sean Connery in his most charismatic element, foiling the plots of mechanical handed criminal genius, Dr.
No. Bond never felt fresher... and rightfully so.
