It is a good start to the Bond series, but the special effects are hilarious at places, and takes away from the already struggling story. I am glad that audiences loved it back in the day, so that EON would continue with Bond, and create the other classic Bond films we know and love.
Dr. No was alright, but not a completely satisfying movie own its own.
