Review of Dr. No (1962) by John W — 11 Oct 2012
Celebrating 50th years anniversary of the world's most famous spy, who had earn himself a great position in the literary and cinematical world, James Bond, doesn't matter in which adaptation he participates you can't deny his first movie will always be a classic.
Being the first adaptation of Ian Fleming's thirteen novels, Dr. No is at his best the action thrilling movie that ask us for more. With the exotic locations, the plot (close to source material), the girls and a bunch of villains who want to eliminate our hero even the Dr.
himself, Dr. No is a great way to celebrate a character who doesn't age on time even there's always different actor portraying him across the years. Definetly highly recommendable for the fans, soon to be fans and no fans, but fanatical of action scenes with coherent plots!
