Review of Dr. No (1962) by Troy F — 12 Apr 2010
Dr. No is the very first entry of the ongoing Bond series, and it's a classic! It is very impressive, clever, and original for its time, which is quite understandable. Unfortunately, I find it difficult to say that this is quite dated and not so original by todays terms.
Dr. No must be viewed with these intentions in mind in order to be seen as a great classic. Considering it's time though, it's a masterpiece.
