Review of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1941) by Davey M — 02 Aug 2011
Inferior to the 1931 version in almost every way. Tracy never grabs you as the lead and Bergman, although producing the strongest performance, is let down by her hybrid Swedish/Cockney accent. It's OK and the sets are great but not the definitive version.
