Review of Downsizing (2017) by Aaron B — 01 Jan 2018
An uninspired performance by Matt Damon to top off this underwhelming film. I wasn't sure what this movie was supposed to be about, and I don't think the people who made it were all that sure either.
Too many ideas crammed into one film, with utter confusion about what is really happening from one event to the next. A shame, because the concept of "The Downsized" is a compelling one, which deserved more attention than this movie gave it.
