Review of Downsizing (2017) by Jr V — 27 Dec 2017
Irrespective of what the trailers and commercials say, this is not a comedy. After seeing it and thinking about it for a day, I'm still not sure what it is. Interesting concept, with too many political overtones and stereotypes.
Save the world. The world is ending. Poor still exist to serve the rich, even in utopia. If you have money you can still get what you want even in an enclosed environment...Who knows what the end was.
.. Hong Chou is fabulous and Matt Damon has a dad body. I wish there was more I could write. Honestly, I'm not sure what I saw.
