Review of Downsizing (2017) by Robert A — 26 Dec 2017
The low scores on this film are a real mystery. Is there a campaign against it? Remarkably original science fiction story that plays like science fact in which the shrinking of people isn't the real story.
I found it fascinating throughout, a rather kind take on humanity that is at the same time pessimistic (or perhaps just realistic) about our future. All directed with Alexander Payne's steady hand.
The audience I was with seemed to like it.
