The first hour gets by on cameos and genuinely funny and imaginative moments. However, at about the hour mark I realized that I had no idea where the movie was going. As in: what is the question that needs to be resolved? There was a flaw in the storytelling that left this usual device basically absent.

Many will roll their eyes at some of the preachiness, and, due to the horribly off-tone marketing campaign, don't be surprised if you see walk-outs like I did. Payne's worst movie? Earned the two stars for the first hour.
