Review of Downsizing (2017) by George P — 07 Jan 2019

I really liked this movie. Most of the critique Downsizing has received is mixed to negative but in my case, this motion picture was seen as different. I personally have not seen a movie like this before, which was enjoyable, I found the performances by Matt Damon and Hong Chau as perfect.

The direction was interesting as was the camera work. The story, as I said, is something different and interesting, I can safely say it was entertaining and enjoyable. Also, the visual effects in this movie are really good, I was actually quite surprised.

All in all, Downsizing has good performances, good direction, surprisingly good visuals and a different story (I really felt bad for Matt Damon's character). I give this movie 4/5 stars.
