Review of Downfall (2004) by Zero S — 29 Dec 2009
There is an element of (extreme) guilty pleasure in watching what is basically a reenactment of the last days of Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich. The plot is well-known to anyone who has done their high school history courses, but Bruno Ganz adds a particular edge to this film.
Probably the best Hitler film made yet, although I'm not sure that deserves to be a genre.
