Bruno Ganz shines true genius in this characterization of Adolf Hitler. Where most would've certainly cowardly compromised Hilter into an inhuman monster, Bruno Ganz incredibly portrayed Hitler with courage and absolute objectivity.
.. thus giving us a real-life portrait of Hitler as a human being, capable of empathy and kindness, a likeable, charismatic man with real human flaws. Bruno Ganz is... an Olympian Giant among actors.
