Review of Downfall (2004) by Samfraser — 30 Apr 2014

I love this film because I always hate how in some films, Hitler is portrayed as some personification of evil. He was obviously a murderous tyrant and a very cruel man, but to portray him as a 'demon' detracts from the fact that he was a human being; he laughed , he cried , he loved animals.

I'm not trying to say that he had a 'good side' or that he 'wasn't all bad', I just think it more useful to show the full picture so it can be used as a warning to prevent another person like him from appearing in the future.
