Review of Downfall (1997) by Bob H — 28 Sep 2010
I can't remember Ganz from the last film I saw him, Wings of Desire. Downfall delivered the impressive realism in WW II with no action scenes at all. Instead, it concentrated on protrayal of the "mindless monster", Adolf Hitler, to an mortal one.
The one who could fear or cry for the unquestionably downfall and Bruno Ganz just delivered it perfectly.
