Review of Down with Love (2003) by Mindy C — 14 Dec 2007
Fast and funny - quick witted dialogue, eye-catching sets and costume...a clever twist on the romantic-comedies of the 50s and 60s with a feminist flair to it. Of course - I have a crush on Ewan, so I'll watch and/or own anything he does.
But really a breezy fun little film that doesn't take itself too seriously, and doesn't ask it's audience to either. You can tell everyone was enjoying themselves, which makes it a pleasant viewing experience.
