Review of Down with Love (2003) by Wendy Y — 29 Feb 2008
Most original movie! The dialog is clever and very slapstick. A bit of a parody of all those old hollywood movies, but not corny. They really did a great job with the traditional old hollywood kiss, you know the ones where they kind of just melt together.
E.g. think of Casablanca, Gone with the wind, Sabrina, or any old movie that has it where they just go in for one really long kiss. It's fantastic, it really resembles old hollywood.
