Review of Down with Love (2003) by Robert M — 04 Jan 2009

I see a lot of reviewers arguing over whether it was the presence of Ewan McGregor or Renee Zellweger that ruined the film. I actually like both, and both were terrible. The director kept filming Zellweger lying flat on her back, which made her face go all kooky (I usually like her face), while McGregor's *real* accent sounded just as fake as his fake one.

The sex romp was ham fisted, and the satire broad and dumb. Everyone involved should be ashamed of this one.
