I hate exaggerated performances. Which is why I loved this film: it manages to make exaggerated performances a vital component of the movie, which is, in itself, exaggerated in every way. Loved the period it's set in, loved the witty, pun-filled script, loved the ridiculous and hilarious ending.
Great movie, much better than your average romantic comedy.
