Review of Down with Love (2003) by Steph O — 31 Jul 2010
This isn't the best romantic comedy I've seen. There isn't much chemistry between Renee Zelwegger and Ewan McGregor and the romance is not believable. However Ewan McGregor is very charming and visually Down With Love is stunning and I loved the outfits. This movie is fun and quirky at times and the whole story is great, but it's just not believable enough and it seems really unrealistic at times. This film doesn't take itself seriously enough and it's not deep enough either. However this film was worth a watch and even though the film isn't serious the atmosphere of the film is fun. The film's chromatic visuals are definitely worth it.
