Review of Down with Love (2003) by Siu K — 23 Sep 2010

Now I doubt that out there somewhere Ewan McGregor is sat listening to recorded sound bites of me slagging off his ability to act... And I also doubt that if he new he would care... But despite my usual hatred for the mans performances I really enjoyed this movie and found him to be charming and very likable as a bit of a jerky ladies man.

This movie was cheeky and happy to poke fun at itself allowing the audience to both laugh with and at the ridiculous plotting and often over the top stylized performances. Good fun and silly enough to make the nonsense work.
