Unspectacular remake of the classic 1978 film "Heaven Can Wait" (which is also a remake of the 1941 film "Here Come Mr. Jordan").
Instead of Warren Beatty as a football star, now it's Chris Rock as an aspiring comic who wants to perform at the famous the Apollo in Harlem before it closes. But he is killed before it happens so he is put back in another body.
