Review of Down and Out in Beverly Hills (1986) by Glenn C — 14 Jun 2012
A funny movie based on a foreign play. Good story, actors (it was cool to see Little Richard act in a movie), and cinematography.
This is also a so 80's movie that it belongs only in that time period. It can still be enjoyed today, however, I can not help but look at this as a parody/documentary on the 80's lifestyle because back then Americans felt they succeeded when they were rich and had a rich lifestyle with the big house, fancy decor, and a maid. And it was interesting to see that get spun out of control when a homeless person comes in and changes all that giving them lessons to learn and eventually he himself learns something too.
