Review of Doubt (2009) by Jeffrey N — 08 Oct 2014
Doubt is the perfect movie. Intelligent, natural writing. Flawless acting. Perfect directing. There isn't much more to say. As much as I loved Milk, Doubt was just slightly better. The only thing that bothers me is how in the world can a movie that is nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay and EVERY actor is nominated in their category, yet none of them win (and most of them lost to lesser performances) and the film itself is not nominated for Best Picture?? I don't get it.
