Review of Doubt (2008) by Geoffrey T — 11 Apr 2012
The writing and acting are superior to almost everything else this past year, and it's an amazing exploration of various conflicts with doubt and certainty, and how intertwined they are. The symbolism in the film is uncanny, and almost always appropriate if overt.
And by the end, you are even more conflicted than many of the characters are, and the writer leaving so many answers ambiguous is the most artful denouement to a film of this nature.
