Review of Doubt (2008) by Timmy G — 15 Jun 2013
As I often consider Amy Adams a throwaway in her films (why she continues to compete with Streep is beyond me), her costars far more than make-up for her simpering gentility. It goes without saying that Streep and Hoffman are absolutely electrifying, but, Viola Davis is flawless as the heart and soul of this gripping account of what has, no-doubt, happened far too many times.
