Review of Doubt (2008) by Matt T — 26 Feb 2014
This film kept me not only intrigued but constantly asking myself who is the villain and who is the hero. The actors went above and beyond when playing their roles to keep facial expressions and gestures as if they were in a constant standoff keeping the question of is he innocent alive.
Not only did the acting give the film a great amount of depth and feeling but the way the director portrays certain scenes gives each setting a deeper meaning. Light bulbs, rain, lack of sunlight, and happiness all tie into the dark and mysterious meaning this film represents.
