Review of Doubt (2003) by Carlos R — 25 Aug 2010
An engaging and gripping drama that increases in quality as the story progresses all the way till the credits roll. I'm a big admirer of Philip Seymour Hoffman, and as great as he is in this film, Meryl Streep is incredible as the dragon like Sister Aloysius in one of her finest roles to date.
The characters are played to extreme conviction by these two phenomenal actors and the whole film is astonishing, with great sets and a great script. Exceeded my expectations.
