Review of Doubt (2003) by John W — 18 Feb 2015
Essentially, this is a story about what happens when the concept of doubt permeates a world of certainty. Meryl Streep is mesmerizing as a strict Catholic School Principal, Philip Seymour Hoffman likewise remarkable as the priest whose reputation she destroys.
Excellent support from Amy Adams as a young, naïve nun and Viola Davis as the mother of a young boy who may (or may not) have been abused by Hoffman's priest.
