Review of Double Whammy (2001) by Twy M — 17 Feb 2008

This is supposed to be a comedy but it wasn't that great. Denis Leary plays a cop with a bad back. While in a fast food place a robbery takes place but when he reaches for his gun his back gives out and the gun goes flying towards a young kid who ends up using it to foil the robbery, obviously Leary is publicly embarassed from the stint and goes on leave and for chiropractic therapy with Hurley.

The rest of the movie is about them falling for each other while some gang thing is going on. Buscemi plays his partner and from the beginning is (sexually confused) and attracted to leary which is some of the funnier parts of this movie.

Not bad but not great.
