Review of Double Wedding (1937) by Erica P — 15 Mar 2014
William Powell is an artistic beatnik of sorts and Myrna Loy a high powered business woman trying to set him up with her sister. Anyone who's ever seen a Powell/Loy film can guess where this screwball comedy is leading.
It's not their best film by a long shot and is more slapstick than their usual outings, but Powell and Loy have such great chemistry that it's still worth watching.
