If one were sitting around trying to come up with a premise for a movie that had no chance to not be awful, it would be hard to top "a buddy action comedy starring Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dennis Rodman".

For some inexplicable reason, somebody in Hollywood spent an unknown but no doubt depressingly high amount of money to prove the point, but at least this put the emerging subgenre of "Van Damme action vehicles with sports-inspired titles" to a merciful death.
