Review of Double Jeopardy (1999) by Matthew Paul D — 20 May 2009
Mediocre at best, revenge thriller with the always great Tommy Lee Jones and the fairly versatile Ashley Judd. Not much to bargain with as far as plot or acting. The ending is predictable and thus poorly executed.
Entertaining in some moments but overall a very weak film based on a both intresting and odd part of the constitution, (part of the 5th amendment). And since the Constitution is a flawed document anyway it can be expected to spawn flawed movie ideas, but I'll save that for Goverment class.
'Nuff said.
