Review of Double Jeopardy (1999) by Mary D — 07 Jul 2009

What could have been an interesting story was ruined by bad acting and some terrible scenes. Ashley judd was bad, at times downright awful in this movie. The characters' relationships were so undeveloped.

There was never any suspense, thrills, or action at all, other than the original "twist" 20 minutes into the movie. The chase scenes were terrible, with the majority being Judd speedwalking away into a building or something.

Also, this is anything but a legal system/court room drama. The 3 minute courtroom scene was the most pathetic thing I've ever scene. Also, wtf was up with Judd's little training scene in the movie?!? That was just dumb.

Getting stronger so she can shoot her husband? Big letdown.
