Review of Double Jeopardy (1999) by Sean S — 06 Jul 2011
My dad used to come home, watch the Mavericks win and end his night with a few cans of beer and this feature film. He loves Judd's resilient character she plays in this tale of betrayal. I had never seen it until now and wasn't super-excited with the movie but it had enough power to keep me fairly entertained.
Judd's family might be a flock of country starlets but her talent lies in acting -- truly a marvelous actress. And Tommy Lee -- with the exception of Two-Face -- has been type-casted as the deputy with a heart in more than one movie.
He played his part beautifully.
