Review of Double Indemnity (1973) by Thomas M — 09 Feb 2009
As far as noirs go, this one is a bit slow with the cuts, but Billy Wilder makes up for that with an amazingly intricate and detailed script (you can't watch it once and catch all the little parallels he makes), and Edward Robinson's performance was spot on.
Overall, a classic noir.
