Hot stuff! Great cast here, and of course, another winner by Billy Wilder. If you are more familiar with Fred MacMurray's family friendly roles, be prepared for a shock. This film highlights the range of his acting ability, in which he is a man torn between doing what's right and giving into to temptation to do whatever it takes to be with a married woman.
How far will he go? Stanwyck is great at subtlety, so you never really know what she is going to do next or what she might be thinking. Can you take the heat?
