Review of Double Indemnity (1973) by James R — 11 Mar 2012

I appreciated the film for its help in the birth of the film noire genre, but man was this movie one slow ride. The movie is about an insurance agent who is manipulated by a beautiful woman to kill her husband and collect the insurance money.

Sure enough things don't go as planned, and suspicions and tensions arise. The movie has an interesting premise, but the film takes too long of a time to get to the first turning point! Give it a luck if your a fan of the genre!
