I think a half-empty bottle of Johnny Walker slowly sinking into the Sea of China serves as a beautiful visual metaphor for this entire ordeal. Incoherent enough to fall perilously close to Tang/Ho territory, only to be saved by Bolo Yeung and JCVD having a sweaty, shirtless screaming contest punctuated by flexing and bizarre Donkey Kong impersonations.
