If Van Damme made this today with a better script, it would've been an action masterpiece. Not only does he play two completely different characters, but he plays them to perfection. There is an awesome scene when the twin, Alex, is drunk and imagines his brother, Chad having sex with his girlfriend.

That's a great acting scene from Van Damme and he has other tiny moments when he shows his acting abilities. Too bad he had muscles, it seems actors who are muscular are never taken seriously as actors.

Van Damme is a good actor and if you didn't see it before, I recommend you watch this film for his performance and of course for the fight sequences.
